Jeep Safari :

With good road connectivity to the hinterland, touring and exploring these areas on a jeep, self-contained logistically makes very fascinating venture and unique experience. Adequate camping sites with water sources are available astride these roads and gravel tracks for establishing own camps.

Manali - Tsomoriri - Leh (04 Days) :

This jeep safari gives a rare excitement of driving on the Leh- Manali road. It also offers you the unique experience to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of Changthang plateau and interact with ‘Changpa’, a nomadic pastoral tribe inhibiting the area. Those who evince interest in wildlife, one would encounter rare species of birds and animals, particularly around the beautiful Tsonoriri and Tsokar lakes- a very popular destination for the visitors.

Leh - Zanskar Valley (07/08 Days) :

The safari drives through historic heartland of Central Ladakh and the picturesque Suru Valley to the once forbidden Zanskar Valley, which remains inaccessible for 7-8 months in a year. It also enables you to visit renowned and ancient monastic establishments and engravings in Central Ladakh, Suru Valley and Zanskar Valley at Alchi, Likir, Lamayuru, Mulbegh, Ringdom,Padum etc. It offers a rare opportunity to interact with Drokpa Tribe ( considered descendent of a lost Aryan Tribe) inhibiting Dah/ Biama/ Hanu villages;. Leh - Pangong - Tsomoriri Lake - Tsokar Lake - Leh (07 Days) :

This trail leads you to the highland plateau of Changthang, Rupshu and Korzok, famous for its scenic beauty, numerous high altitude lakes i.e Pangong (largest brackish water lake in Asia), Tsomoriri and Tsokar lakes and rich in wildlife. It is the home to ‘Changpas’ a pastoral and nomadic tribe. Those who evince interest in wildlife, one would encounter rare species of birds and animals, particularly around the beautiful Pangong,Tsonoriri and Tsokar lakes; a very popular destination for the visitors.
On the way, it enables you to visit Shey Palace and ancient monasteries at Thaktok and Thiksey.

Note: After visiting Tsokar lake, instead of falling back to Leh, one can also proceed to Manali. This entire trail will be of 8 days duration, with over-night stay at Sarchu.
